I knowwwww, its been a Long time no post from me, so I decided to start fresh with a review of my latest obsession.
After ages I found the perfect shade for my wheatish skin tone, I wanted something not too brown, or too maroony or too nude either.
It had to blend perfectly with my skin tone and equally stand out on my lips making them look subtly pouty ;).
My hunt ended at the MAC store in Phoenix Market city mall, in Pune.
This is a Matt shade lipstick called “Persistence”.
I have been using it for a week now and love it!
I match with my basic daily make up or even match with heavy eyes for a party or date night.
– if you love the nudes and have been craving for the right shade for your wheatish skin , then THIS IS IT.
– Texture is smooth, application is super easy.
– After a layer settles in it looks perfectly Matt.
– Perfectly mild and soothing shade for this heat!!
– it’s priced at Rs.1450/- this may be steep if you are not looking at that one time shade to invest in. That’s all!
So, my final rating is 5/5.
Go ahead try it.

Hellow people! Hope you are having a fabulous start to this year.
On that note, This year I am starting of with some DIY makeovers. Easy to implement and great results. Here Is a winter evening look I tried working with hues of mauve & subtle pinks.
Model : Veeta
Here is what I used and did to get this look:
Ponds BB cream + olay moisturiser as a well blended base: mix the two at the back of your hand and use a good foundation brush to blend it smoothly all over the face for and even look.
MAC studio fix compact powder over the base as a compact powder, use the one of your shade only for veeta I used NC 42.
For eyes I used a MAC special edition mauve pallette. It has shades of wine, pink, mauve & purple.
I used the darkest of the lot which was a wine color on the outer corner of the lid, used a medium two tone purple in the inner corner and a mauve in the middle of the lid. Blended all three.
Used a lakle liquid eyeline to line the upper lid, followed by a mascara.
I used white kajal in the eyes to add a bright line inside the eye.
Used the regular Gleeful MAC blush on the cheeks.
On the lips I used a nude lipliner first from essence, followed by a nude lipstick from color bar and a topped it with a transparent lip gloss.
With well scrunched hair to complete the look.
This is perfect for a date, evening meeting or dinner.
